PIRI co-hosted the “Excellence Lab: Africa-Bavaria Collaboration” with the Bavarian Research Alliance. The event brought together 34 researchers and industry leaders from 10 countries to explore EU funding opportunities for environmental projects.

Participants exchanged ideas on circular economy and climate action, aligning with Horizon Europe’s goals. Three projects were highlighted, including African-Bavarian partnerships on sustainable energy. This initiative underscores PIRI’s role in fostering cross-continental innovation.
