Welcome 李佳铭 Jiaming Li to PIRI!

The Pan-African Institute of Research and Innovation (PIRI) in Kalulushi, Zambia, is pleased to announce Jiaming Li as our Research Intern & External Relations Associate from March 1 to May 31, 2025.

Jiaming is a Bachelor of Science candidate in Technology of Biogenic Resources at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), complemented by Africa-Competence studies (AfriZert) at the University of Bayreuth. Her expertise spans industrial design, renewable energy systems, and biotechnology, with hands-on experience in 3D modeling, prototyping, and sustainable design.

Driven by PIRI’s interdisciplinary mission, she specializes in environmental sustainability and energy transition. In her role, Jiaming will deepen research on Africa’s energy landscape while leveraging her cultural perspective to strengthen ties with existing partners and explore new collaborative opportunities. We look forward to her innovative contributions at the nexus of research, design, and global partnership.
