Greetings from the Pan-African Institute of Research and Innovation (PIRI)
Established in January 2021, PIRI serves as a vital organ of liaison, networking, study, training, and consultation, bringing together a diverse community of researchers, academics, pracademics, practitioners, and institutions.
In May 2022, PIRI solidified its commitment by officially opening its headquarters in Zambia.
As part of its expansive vision, the Institute is set to establish regional offices in Ghana, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, ensuring a Pan-African footprint.

Jiaming Li
Jiaming Li is External Relations Associate at the Pan-African Institute of Research and Innovation, driving global collaboration for African innovation. He fosters partnerships with stakeholders from China, the Netherlands, and Germany, supports cross-border research (e.g., plastic waste management in Kenya/Zambia), and manages the institute’s WordPress website and social media. With a biogenic resources technology background, AfriZert certification, and multilingual proficiency (English, German, Spanish, native Chinese), he links global expertise to local solutions, advancing the institute’s mission of addressing African challenges through collaborative research.
