Goal

The goal is to establish a culture of research ethics and integrity (REI) in academic research and innovation using digital technology during transformation. It aims to foster implementing institutional/national policies by enhancing students’ and staff’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Verifiable indicators include changes in their attitudes/behaviors, participation in learning processes, and plagiarism incidence. Universities’ commitment to transformation is a key assumption.

Purpose

The specific objectives are to change students’ and faculty’s attitudes toward REI and digital tools, foster inter-institutional knowledge on cultivating REI culture, and boost staff’s digital training skills. Attitude-wise, it seeks raised awareness and willingness to engage in evaluations. Knowledge focuses on best practices and guidelines, while skills aim at staff professionalization. Indicators: student feedback on attitude change, increased inter-institutional communication, and more digital/traditional method teaching.

Output

Outputs include 3 platforms: a dissemination platform for workshops/conferences (onsite/online), a learning platform with materials/seminars for students/staff, and an exchange platform for sharing REI teaching courses/materials. Additionally, the project involves international collaborations (e.g., with NERQ), publishing 3 articles, and conducting user/expert feedback. Measured by attendee numbers, platform usage, certificate issuance, and cross-university teaching exchanges.

Activities

Activities involve developing online platforms for workshops, conferences, and seminars; establishing a public forum to discuss teaching methods and institutional transformation; participating in international collaborations to share knowledge; conducting interviews/feedback to assess users’ attitude/skill changes; and publishing experiences in journals. Requires technical resources, a safe internet environment, and stable social/political structures to ensure smooth implementation.
